Relief Fund of Taiwan Typhoon Morakot “台湾八八水灾，大马送暖”赈灾基金

The Young Buddhist Association of Malaysia wish to express its deepest concern on the recent disastrous attack at Taiwan. We hereby call upon all member organisations to render our help in collecting donation to ease the unfortunate situation.

As such, a Taiwan Typhoon Morakot Relief Fund campaign is conducted and co-organised by YBAM, Buddha’s Light International Association, Malaysia Chapter, The Federation of Alumni Association Of Taiwan Universities and Sin Chew Daily with immediate effect until 29 August 2009.

The relief fund will be sent to the Taiwan victims directly by early September of 2009. Please send the relief fund to YBAM Secretariat. All cheques are to be payable to “Young Buddhist Association of Malaysia” and indicate “Taiwan Relief Fund” at the back of the cheques.

You may also directly bank in the cheques to our Public Bank account: 3063802219 and send us the bank in slip for our record. Please do not hesitate to contact secretariat (03-7804 9154 / 9157) if you need further clarification.

We also call upon member organisations who are conducting blessing services to transfer the merits to the victims, wishing them to be released from sufferings soon. At the same time, we pray for the protection of the Triple Gem so that all disastrous events will be ended soon and our people could be back to normal life soon.

马来西亚佛教青年总会对于近日台湾发生的水灾灾情深表同情，谨此致函呼吁各会员团体及时伸出援手，展开赈灾募款，尽一份心力协助不幸的灾黎。

马佛青总会谨此联同国际佛光会马来西亚协会、马来西亚留台校友会联合总会，以及星洲日报，从现在开始至2009年8月29日，展开赈灾筹款，并于2009年9月初直接移交至台湾灾黎手中。 请在支票抬头写上Young Buddhist Association of Malaysia，同时在支票背面注明：台湾赈灾基金。

贵会也可以直接汇入马佛青大众银行户口：3063802219。请将汇款收据寄给马佛青以兹证明。 若有任何疑问, 请联络马佛青总会秘书处 (03-7804 9154 / 9157) 。 若会员团体有办共修会或法会，也请回向功德予灾黎，愿他们早日脱离苦难，同时也祈愿三宝加被，让此风灾尽速结束，安顿民心。
